Land Acknowledgement
A Land Acknowledgement is a formal statement that recognizes and respects Indigenous Peoples as traditional stewards of the land, and the enduring relationship that exists between Indigenous Peoples and their traditional territories. Our Land Acknowledgement focuses on the host state of Minnesota, and was filmed in the Twin Cities at Bdote, the Dakota name for the confluence of the Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers. The Land Acknowledgement from the On Being Project served as an inspiration for ours, and some corresponding text is used with permission.

We hope that this content serves as an inspiration to think about the history of the place where you live, and an inspiration to carry those thoughts into future actions.
